Children’s party venue Džiaugsmoteka, after a recent rebranding, was in need of a website redesign in order to showcase their new identity.
With new branding – colors, logo and typography as the starting point – they were looking for a website that would reflect the fun character of their venue and would also have a custom booking solution integrated into their website so that parents could easily book parties for their children.
/ The Goal
The new website should create a modern and fun experience, while making sure all the necessary information is easy to find.
The custom booking system had to include the option to choose between both of their locations, pick which room to rent and add extras such as party entertainers, decorations, food and drinks.
The goal of the Džiaugsmoteka redesign was to:
- Incorporate the new branding - colors, logo and typography
- Improve the UX of the website using the previous website's content and photos
- Create an experience that reflects the fun character of their kids party venue
- Create a custom multi-step booking system that includes the option to choose between locations, room type and optional extras
- Set up a secure payment gateway to pay for the reservation right away
/ The Results
The new website has a modern, fun and inviting design that is true to the brand’s identity. The UX has been improved, making it easier for parents to find the information they need and the user flow is intuitive with clear calls to action.
The custom booking system is built based on the Webba Booking plugin, which allows parents to easily reserve the venue, choose between locations, select a room type, add extra services and pay for the reservation directly on the website. In the back end, the booking information is tracked and stored for each location.

Custom Booking System
We implemented a step-by-step booking system that matches Džiaugsmoteka branding and has the option to choose between locations, room type and extras such as entertainers, decorations, food and drinks.
In the back end, it’s easy for the staff to manage and keep track of bookings as well as customers’ contact information, payment and other details.
Secure Payment Gateway
As the last step of the booking form, parents are able to pay for their reservation using a secure payment gateway.
On their previous website, Džiaugsmoteka didn’t have the option to accept payments online. This was a crucial step for their business as it makes the booking process more user-friendly and reduces manual work for the staff.
New design incorporating the updated branding
Džiaugsmoteka’s came to us with their updated branding – colors, logo and typography.
We used these as the starting point for their website redesign to create a website that reflects the lively character of a kids party venue.
Improved user flow
The new website has an improved user flow and calls to action that guide users through the different pages, making sure all the necessary information is easy to find and that the users take the desired action – booking a party.
