/ Webflow website for a large-scale climate action conference
Climate Week Zurich is a business-driven climate platform bringing together business leaders, policymakers, researchers, creatives and innovators to accelerate climate action.
Ahead of its inaugural edition on 4–9 May 2026, the Climate Week Zurich team needed a new website that could support the event before, during and after the week itself.
Working together with their team and an initial design mockup, we developed a scalable website in Webflow that could serve multiple audiences, manage a growing amount of content and integrate directly with their event management platform.
/ The Goal
The website had to work as much more than an event landing page.
Long before the event itself, Climate Week Zurich needed a platform where potential partners, speakers and volunteers could learn about the initiative and apply to get involved.
As the programme developed, the website also needed to become the main information hub for participants planning their Climate Week Zurich experience.
Because different parts of the website were needed at different stages of the event preparation, the platform was developed and expanded gradually.
Partner, speaker and volunteer pages were required early on, while the programme and participant-focused content became increasingly important as the event approached.
The goal was to create a website that would:
- Support multiple audiences, including partners, speakers, volunteers and event participants
- Create a scalable event programme capable of handling hundreds of events
- Make it easy for visitors to browse and filter events
- Integrate with GlueUp, where event information and registrations were managed
- Provide practical guides covering travel, accommodation, networking and other visitor information
- Be available in English and German
- Give the Climate Week Zurich team the flexibility to update content independently and quickly
- Create a structure that could be updated and reused for future editions
- Include the basic SEO and analytics setup needed for a new event platform
/ The Results
We created a flexible Webflow website that acts as the central digital platform for Climate Week Zurich.
The site brings together the event programme, partner information, applications, visitor guides, news, jobs, podcast content and other resources within one consistent website experience.
A custom GlueUp API integration automatically connects the event management platform with the website, allowing hundreds of events to be presented in an easy-to-browse programme without having to recreate them manually in Webflow.
The website was built in English and German using Webflow translations, making it suitable for both local and international audiences while keeping both language versions within the same Webflow project.
We also implemented the basic SEO foundations, including meta titles and meta descriptions, and connected Google Analytics so the team could monitor website traffic and visitor behaviour.
The website was designed with long-term use in mind. Reusable elements and Webflow CMS make it easier for the Climate Week Zurich team to update copy and images, publish blog and job posts and adjust the site as the programme evolves.
To make this process more efficient, we also provided hands-on assistance to their team on managing and updating website content independently.
/ Highlighted Features

Custom GlueUp API Event Integration
We developed a custom API integration that pulls event information from GlueUp and displays it as event cards on the Climate Week Zurich website.
Visitors can filter events by date, language and tags, then continue to GlueUp for full details and registration.
This allows hundreds of events to be managed in GlueUp while keeping the website programme easy to browse.

Website Designed for Multiple Audiences
The website had to serve partners, speakers, volunteers and participants, each with different needs.
We created dedicated pages and clear user flows so visitors could quickly find relevant information, applications, event details and practical guides.

Flexible Webflow CMS & Reusable Content
The website was built to evolve before, during and after the event.
Reusable Webflow components and CMS structures allow the team to update copy and images, publish blog and job posts and make time-sensitive changes more efficiently.
We also supported their team in learning how to manage these updates independently.

Third-Party Integrations
We connected several external platforms to support the event experience.
A LinkedIn feed integration displays recent posts, while a HotelMap booking integration gives visitors direct access to accommodation options.
Newsletter signups and other event-related actions were also connected to the platforms used by the Climate Week Zurich team.

/ Built for Climate Week Zurich 2026 and Beyond
Although created for the inaugural Climate Week Zurich in May 2026, the website was built as a long-term platform.
Its flexible Webflow structure, reusable components, CMS, multilingual setup and integrations make it easy to update for future editions.
As Climate Week Zurich grows, the website can continue evolving with the programme and community.
